I had purchased these because they were so intersting. However, since we aren’t big cornbread eaters I didn’t know what I would use this for. I’d searched for a long time for a good burger bun recipe my family could eat and just couldn’t find a recipe we liked. Then I experimented with a recipe but it was too loose to form into buns. I decided to try it in these pans and it was perfect. The size was just right and the texture was perfect.

I now sometimes also make mini-pies and mini-tart cakes in these. They’ve turned out to be very versatile pans.
