Because of allergies our family cannot eat gluten, dairy, and cane sugar so all my recipes are made without them. However, the focus of this site is on cast iron cooking, using healthier ingredients, and introducing people to backyard chickens. I am very grateful fate has opened a door that has introduced us to so many nourishing foods I’d never heard of before. I do not intend to focus on our family’s medical journey. I will try and provide as many recipes that take into consideration other allergies including nuts, soy, and eggs. However, those ingredients will be in some of my recipes. If you find ways to adapt my recipes so they don’t include any allergens, I’m sure others would appreciate if you’d share that information.
