I bought my 9 quart Dutch Oven specifically so I could make lots of vegetable broth at once. Although the 7 quart could do the job, this gives me a little extra room to not have to worry about overflow. My broth tasted good back when I cooked it in a stainless steel stock pan. But when I got the Dutch Oven the flavors came alive. It may only get used a couple times a month, but I am quite pleased to have this pot.
