Although cast iron pots and pans aren’t necessary for any of these recipes, each recipe suggests a cast iron piece that could be used during cooking or baking. Additionally, I share my years of experience in how to easily season, care for, and cook with cast iron pans.
Cast iron cookware is inexpensive and will last for generations. They’re the perfect tool for the budget-minded cook as well as those concerned about the environmental consequence of throw away gadgets. They’re non-stick, don’t off-gas, are easy to clean, and are the serving dish that adds panache to your dinner table.
I am just now creating this website and I hope you’ll come back and see what’s new. In between raising kids, caring for a pack of neurotic dogs, and making crackers, tortillas, bread balls, and everything else my family eats I will be working to get new recipes up here. And what a list of recipes I have…sandwich breads, curries, pasta sauces, creamy soups, pizza, pies, and decadent chocolate desserts…
